Commission A Masterpiece

“I love to learn about the person, couple, family, or business by visiting where the piece will live, spending time with the clients, and throwing ideas around with them.”

    Collaborative Creation

Whether it is a simple concept like “I want something like this one here except in blue” or something open-ended like “I want something that reflects a new beginning for me”, Stephanie loves the whole process.

Worry not if your request is different than her usual style—pushing herself is how she grows as an artist. “Push away,” she says. She thrives on the challenge of interpreting your vision through her lens.

    The Promise

    • Stephanie estimates the cost and accepts 50% to begin.
    • She creates until you are completely satisfied.
    • Final payment and delivery happen only when you love it.
    • If you are never satisfied (which hasn’t happened yet!), you don’t pay the balance.

    The “Smooth to Crazy” Triptych

“They had just welcomed twins, and she wanted a triptych that went from ‘smooth to crazy’—reflecting the shift from the quiet of a couple to the beautiful chaos of a full house.”

I created a series ranging across that spectrum and invited them over mid-creation to see the work in progress. For the “crazy” and “mid-crazy” panels, they fell in love with pieces I was still actively layering—the raw, unfinished energy was exactly what they were looking for.

    Sea Foam Serenity

“A couple of friends of mine wanted something in sea foam for their bedroom. Never thought I could use sea foam but that is exactly why I love commissions! I love/need to be pushed!”

“You can’t tell but there is a touch of gold that catches your eye as you walk by. *dreamy*”

    The Unique Reinterpretation

“Another friend wanted a piece that had already sold. I made sure they knew it would never be the same—it will definitely be different.”

Recreating a sold piece is never about copying; it’s about channeling the same energy into a new form. The client wanted the piece to be larger and in a completely different aspect ratio.

I used the original as a spiritual guide but allowed the new canvas to dictate its own flow. The result captures the essence of the original while standing entirely on its own as a unique masterpiece.

    A Celebration of New Beginnings

“She wanted something to celebrate her new beginnings in life. She had just begun a pivotal new chapter in her career and needed a visual anchor for that moment.”

This piece was commissioned by a brilliant medical director to commemorate the start of her journey at a major biotech firm. It was created to embody potential, energy, and the colorful complexity of a fresh start.

Decades later, she is still there, and this painting remains a vibrant testament to that exciting time when it all began.
