Based in Santa Monica, Stephanie Spanjian is an artist and engineer who finds her sanctuary where the land meets the sea. Living as close to the beach as possible, she channels the rhythmic healing power of the tides into her work.

As an engineer who makes art, Stephanie bridges two worlds: the structured and the fluid. Her canvas is a space where logic dissolves into emotion, and where she heals through the act of creation. Her abstract pieces are a testament to nature’s cycles—the pull of the moon, the crash of the waves, and the freedom found in between.

“All of my art is mood/moment–based. Even if I plan out an elaborate piece or a collection of pieces, the whole plan is filtered by the immediate emotions/environment and I do not try to prevent this. This gives me a gallery from light to dark, the full spectrum. I do not hold back. I just open up and embrace the moment.”
